Halloween Pictionary Printable
At my house, my girls are already gearing up for the Halloween season. With costumes picked out and treat bags ready to go, we’re now in party planning mode. And what’s a party without super fun games?!
Halloween Pictionary is one of our favorites to play during the spooky holiday season. It’s always a great laugh and it’s super easy to prepare! My younger daughter can even participate as I provide images to match each word on the Pictionary cards. So early readers can still join in the fun!
Whether you’re planning to play at home or in your classroom at school, Halloween Pictionary is sure to be a huge hit for adults and kids of all ages!
How to Play
Halloween Pictionary is really easy to prepare no matter where you’re playing the game. Just print and cut out the Pictionary cards. (I recommend printing them on card stock and laminating them to use next year if you want extra durability.)
Then, prepare a board for drawing (chalkboard, dry erase board, paper, etc.) and drawing materials (markers, chalk, pencils, etc.). Divide the players up into two teams. And that’s it!
- Place the Pictionary cards in a fun Halloween pale or face down in a pile.
- A member from Team #1 should draw a Pictionary card from the pile or bucket. Once the illustrator begins drawing, the team members on Team #1 get one minute to guess the drawing. If they correctly guess the illustration, they get one point.
- At the end of the minute, play moves to Team #2.
- Continue rotating between the two teams until all of the cards have been used.
The team with the most points at the end of the game wins! You could even prepare Halloween themed prizes for the winners in advance for some extra fun.
