Printable Christmas Pictionary
Once December arrives, our home turns into a hub of holiday cheer with music, baking, and games galore! One of my family’s favorite ways to keep the Christmas spirit alive (and everyone entertained) is with a round of Christmas Pictionary.
This printable game is super easy to pull together and guaranteed to get everyone laughing. With a mix of simple and festive words, it’s perfect for players of all ages. I’ve even included picture clues on the cards to help younger kids join the fun, so no strong reading skills are needed!
Whether you’re planning a classroom party, a family game night, or just need a fun activity to keep kids busy during winter break, these Christmas Pictionary word cards are a merry must-have!
Instructions
Christmas Pictionary is a fun and easy game to set up and play during the holiday season! Here’s how to get started:
- Print and cut out the Christmas Pictionary cards.
(For extra durability, print on cardstock and laminate them so you can use them year after year.) - Set up your drawing area.
Use a whiteboard, chalkboard, easel pad, or even a large sheet of wrapping paper! Provide markers, chalk, or whatever drawing tools you have on hand. - Divide players into two teams.
- Place the Pictionary cards in a festive container.
A Santa hat, Christmas gift box, or holiday basket works great! Or just stack them in a face-down pile. - To play:
A player from Team 1 draws a card and starts drawing the word or phrase with no talking, acting, or writing letters! Team 1 has one minute to guess what’s being drawn. If they guess correctly within the time limit, they score a point. Then it’s Team 2’s turn. Keep taking turns until all the cards have been used. - The team with the most points at the end wins!
Optional: Make it extra merry by preparing small Christmas-themed prizes, candy canes, or stocking stuffers for the winning team!
